Generally when people think of a European holiday France is the main place on their mind as it is the fashion capital of the world. Alsace consists of beautiful villages, vineyards, lazy rivers, plump grapes and peaceful side walks. What more does a person need on a holiday? In the very heart of the city, you can see the Notre Dame Cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic art.

Alsace towns like Mulhouse which is an industrial town boasts of rich cultural museums and heritage structures. They are considered to be the best in the world. These Alsace towns have not been corrupted by the modern developments. They still maintain their old world charm and tourists throng the place for this uniqueness.
